• I was thrown into a panic. Not knowing what to do, I could not think straight. What did he mean by a mating ceremony in a month? How was I to manoeuvre that? All I had stayed by his side to do was facilitate his downfall, not to mate with him. It would be easy to call off an engagement ceremony but a mating – once that bastard put his mark on me, there would be no going back.
