• Cassius had done something. Even without knowing what, I knew he had done something. Suddenly, the only heir to Alpha Slater’s seat got into a fight with some men at the bar and ended up dead. It was not unusual for Slater’s son to get into bar fights since he was a nitwit just like his sister who had no achievements but liked to ride off of her father’s name. I did not know him in person but there were often stories about him getting into fights here and there, harassing women and assaulting omegas. He was the scum of the earth but no one dared to offend him considering his family name. This same man had suddenly died in a bar fight.
