If she knew what she means to me right now, she would keep her distance from me. He finishes examining her and turns to me. My heart quickens but I still want to hear it.
• "We have dissolved the blood clot in her brain. I'm surprised she isn't talking yet. She's not dumb I assure you. Perhaps it's a psychological problem.
