• I was walking about with Camile when I spotted Merna. Her head was high as she sped towards my direction. She paid no one any attention until she got closer to me. As she walked past us, Merna turned her head as her eyes were glued on me.
• An unreadable expression on her face, but it was her eyes that spoke differently. For a split second, I thought I could see blue/ gold swirls of energy moving where her emerald eyes should have been.
