• I pondered on what I had seen Merna display. When she was around Pierre she was happy go lucky! Away from his seeing eyes, a different Merna emerged. I could see how the bond was affecting her. She spent hours in a chair looking out over the water, blinking only when she had to!
• I knew it was not enough but I made a suggestion to the Master that maybe Ashur should be placed on guard duty around her place more often. In the hopes of lessening the effects she was feeling.
