• Everything was moving along smoothly! There were a handful of individuals who responded to the ad Merna had placed on Kijiji. Merna handled all of the paperwork, she always seemed to understand this better than I ever could.
• With crunch time happening, Merna and I were spending more time packing during the week. For two weeks Merna’s apartment had been empty. The super intent was not happy that Merna was leaving with short notice. To shut the super up Merna pointed out that it was not like a crime was being committed. The rent was up to date … the only thing that was out of sorts was that no one was going to be there. Even with that tidbit of information, the super tried to threaten her. That is when Merna pulled out the big guns. “If you fail to tell the landlord about me moving now … I will call the cops and tell them where you stash all your cocaine… then I will call your two girlfriends, Amber and Becky, you know the ones that you are fucking them at the same time!”
