• Gran’s tests take longer than I expected and I worry more as each second goes by. They poke and prod her for hours until eventually the doctor comes in to tell me my gran has to go into surgery so they can do a biopsy on the new growth. I sign the necessary paperwork and pace the waiting room of the hospital while Gran is in surgery. It’s scary as fuck.
