• HayleyCould this really be happening? How could someone as hot as Xander want me? I thought our wedding night was a fluke and the way he was so obviously jealous of Kyle was cute but I never thought much of it. The way he’s looking at me now though, the way he’s touching me, the things he’s said and done, I can’t deny that he seems to really be into me. Pinch me please! Then again, don’t....I don’t want to wake up. My back is against Xander’s firm body. His arms wrapped around my waist as I stare at our reflection in the glass door of the shower as the hot water pummels down on us. Xander leans over and turns the water off. He reaches outside the shower door and grabs two huge bath towels. He wraps one around me and one around his waist as we step out of the shower together. We haven’t said a word to each other and I know we should. Last night... today... it’s all been very intense. I just don’t know what to say and I don’t want to ruin the bubble we're in. “Hayley... this wasn’t a once off, at least I don’t want it to be", he says to me as he pulls me closer with my towel, “I won’t lie that I know what’s going on between us but I want to find out, if you’ll give us a chance.” “Us? As in a relationship between you and I?” “That’s usually how a relationship works.” “Hmm”, I say as I stand on my toes and wrap my arms around Xander’s neck, “I think that I’m game if you are." In the next second my legs are wrapped around Xander’s waist and both our towels are gone. We don’t do much talking for a long while after that and when we eventually do, we are sprawled out on the master king size bed, naked, snacking on my chocolate stash. “I'm aware it’s a bit late to ask this”, Xander grins at me “but are you on the pill?” “Yes and it’s a good thing I am with the way we've been behaving”, I smile. “It’s an excellent thing babe", says Xander as he melts the remaining chocolate in his palms and rubs it across my breasts, down my tummy to my pussy before his tongue follows suite and I lose all coherent thought. I wake up to the house phone ringing. Xander reaches for it on the side table with his eyes still closed, “Hello?... Yes Charles... No its fine, get him some refreshments and tell him we will be right down.” He turns to me and smiles, “sorry babe we have to get up.” “Maybe you do... I don’t...” I say grinning from ear to ear. “Is that so?” He says, swiftly grabbing the sheet and pulling before launching a tickle attack on me. “Okay, okay I give up!” I scream with tears of laughter streaming down my face. Xander swats my ass as I jump off the bed and all but prance to the walk in closet wrapped in a sheet. I grab a pair of indigo skinny jeans and a black t-shirt before putting my feet into a pair of Adidas sneakers. Thank God we showered again after our chocolate escapade. < Xander also grabs a pair of light blue ripped jeans and pairs it with a branded t shirt. “Okay, let’s go, we can’t keep our guest waiting", he says as he grabs my hand and leads me downstairs. A girl could get used to all this hand holding and touching. When we reach the landing, Xander leads me to one of the formal lounges where a man in a business suit is busy in conversation with gran. “Mr Dominic! How are you? I was so happy when I got your call. Thank you for thinking of us,”exclaims the suited man. “Hello Henry, apologies for making you wait, but I see my grandmother has graciously kept you company”, says Xander as he smiles at Gran. “Henry this is my wife, Hayley. “ “Mrs Dominic, it is such an honour to finally meet you,” says the suited Henry as he extends his hand to me to shake. “It’s Hayley, please" I say as I accept his handshake. I have no clue who this man is or why I had to get out of bed with my hunk of a husband to meet him. I notice Grandma Helen staring at my hand joined to Xander’s with a grin on her face. She looks up and discreetly winks at me sending warmth to my cheeks. “Your order is outside Mr Dominic.” “Thanks Henry, I will take it from here" says Xander before turning to me, “Come babe, I have a surprise for you.” I don’t dare turn and look at grandma’s reaction to Xander’s use of the word “babe” on me as I meekly follow him out the front door. In the driveway, parked in front of the fountain is a limited edition range rover just like Xander’s except were Xander’s is black, this one is white with black and silver trim. It’s gorgeous. “Wow Xander, it’s beautiful!” I say as we approach the vehicle. “I’m glad you think so... because it’s yours.” I stop dead in my tracks, “What do you mean it’s mine?” “Exactly that beautiful.” “Xander, you've already given me so much money. I can afford to buy my own car, you don’t need to buy me one.” “Just take it as a perk of being my wife. You have an image to uphold now and the money I gave you is yours, whatever you need while you’re married to me, I will provide. Henry’s my banker, he picked the car up this morning and your new bank cards should be in the driver’s console.” “New bank cards?” I ask confused and very emotional. “Yip, like I said you have an image to uphold as my wife and I’m paying for it. Use the cards whenever you need to, there is no limit and Henry’s card should also be in the console. Call him if you need anything finance related.” “Xander, I don’t need...”“I know Hayley, but I need you to have this. Please, no arguments.” I hug Xander tightly, feeling embarrassingly emotional. No-one has ever made me feel as special or taken care of as Xander. “Thanks”.
