Chapter 45 Setting the Record Straight

• Selena turned around and went straight to the projector on the other side of the conference room before connecting it to her cell phone. Then, she unlocked her phone and dug up an incoming message that contained a reply letter from the police in response to a police report. "Please take a look, everyone."
• Leah's face froze when she saw the letter projected on the screen, which included the mugshot of a middle-aged woman holding in both hands a sign with the word "fraud" written on it. That's… the Edwina that I previously came into contact with! Is she really a con artist? "T-This reply letter of yours has to be faked! How could you possibly know whether she's the real Edwina or not?!" She looked at Selena in disbelief.
• Selena smirked. Then, she turned directly to the last page of the reply letter, showing that the person who made the police report was none other than Edwina herself. "Edwina and I have been friends for years, so she gave this reply letter to me after learning of your false accusation against me." She smiled at Leah with her chin in her hand. "Miss Olsen, shouldn't you publicly apologize to me now? Oh, and you have to thank me, too."
