Chapter 26 Mrs Bruce

• Calvin woke up in the middle of the night to find the little lady shivering slightly in the sofa she stubbornly insisted on staying. She was obviously cold and she didn't cover herself. He felt like carrying her to the bed, but he knew that she might be angry when she woke up. She wasn't even using a pillow and she didn't look comfortable.
• He took one pillow from the bed and the blanket he was using and walked over to her. He raised her head gently and placed it on the pillow carefully so he won't wake her up. He then spread the blanket over her, making sure it covers all part of her body except her face. He tucked her hair behind her ear so he could see her face better and just stood there looking at her sleeping face. She looked so peaceful and cute that he felt like pinching her cheek.
• He stood there watching her and smiling for a while, cherishing the moment. He felt that they staying together was an opportunity for him to get close to her and he was going to make good use of it.
