• Calvin stood in front of his room mirror nodding his tie. He was fully dressed and ready for work, but then he heard a gentle knock on his door.
• "Come in." He said, thinking it was Ellie or any of the other maids but to his utter stupefaction, Allison entered. He just stood like an idiot gaping at her. She was the person he least expected to see in his room uninvited. She would not even be unwilling to come if invited. He just stood watching her without blinking as if she might disappear if he made a little mistake.
