Chapter 23 Facade

• "Are you okay Allison? You look tired." Calvin asked the exhausted looking Allison. She was just coming from... Well, she didn't tell him but he guessed it should either be her sister's hospital or the bar. She had never gone anywhere else. He wondered what her normal life was like. He wondered if she had more friends, what about her other family members? He hadn't heard anything about them. He felt like asking her but he knew he was in no position to do so.
• He had been acting nice and considerate in the past few days, hoping she would come around but she only seemed to be more distant than she ever was. Why did the only girl he had ever took interest in push him away? Fate indeed had a funny way of doing things. Every girl he had come across would do anything even if it was just to spend a night with him, and that was all he ever does with them.
• But this girl, she was different. He had gotten attracted to her the first day he saw her, and he thought that after a round or two, his fascination for her would go away, but he was wrong.
