• "We don’t have a choice," Elara said, her voice steady. "We need to know what we're dealing with. The man said something about me embracing my fate... about unlocking the curse. But I don’t understand any of it. We have to go to the Elders."
• Damien hesitated for a moment, his gaze flickering to the horizon where the forest seemed to stretch endlessly. Finally, he nodded, his jaw clenched. "I’ll go with you. I’m not letting you face this alone, Elara."
• She gave him a small smile, grateful for his unwavering support. "I know you won’t."
