• She had almost forgotten that her newfound mate, the vampire king himself, was indeed a vampire. As she turned back, she found Blade staring at her intently. She instinctively moved back, but not before noticing the way he scrunched his eyes up, clearly angry at her actions.

Moreover, this is my room, and I do not wish to see you attempting to escape again. The security measures around my chambers are tight, so don't think you can play any silly games once more," Blade said, his eyes locked on her. With that, he left the room, leaving Bella in a daze.
