- As we passed by Amelia, she looked very happy. We walked hand in hand until we reached the beach in our private area. The sun was about to rise, and we sat on the sand to watch the horizon. I asked her how her day had been, and that's when she told me about her new friendships. I loved seeing her smile and so calm.
- "I missed you so much," she said, then straddled my lap.
