• Kosta stared at her, expecting to hear her speak, to talk, to confront him, but not a single sound came out of Natalia's mouth. For several minutes, he thought she refused to speak to him because she was angry and he had caused it.
• "Nata, my love," he said, taking her hand, but he couldn't look her in the eye because he felt ashamed. "I know a simple apology or 'I'm sorry' is not enough for the damage I caused, but I want to tell you..." His words were interrupted when small screams started to be heard. He was shocked when he saw her trying to harm herself on her face.
