Chapter 17 Premonitions

• Natalia scrolled through social media and digital media outlets, especially those related to celebrity gossip and the most recognized personalities in the country. Each one was more sensationalist and scandalous than the other, with an astonishing amount of lies being spread about her. If she didn't know the truth of what had happened and wasn't the protagonist herself, she would end up hating herself.
• "Why don't you request a right of reply from those media outlets, even from the social media accounts that have been responsible for spreading those lies and defaming you in a cruel manner? I can help you, I have no problem joining you in making statements to clarify everything. We could even hold a press conference... It's not fair that people form misconceptions, judge you, and create a negative public opinion that damages your image," Oliver protested, trying to convince Natalia. She shook her head in refusal.
• "It's not worth it," she smiled bitterly. "I no longer have an image to protect. Besides, there will always be someone who doesn't believe and incites others to think like them... we just have to let this calm down, let them find another topic of conversation, and forget about me... that's how it is, I'm used to it."
