Chapter 93 Amelia's Vision

  • The sun was low in the sky, casting long shadows across the courtyard as I sat alone on the stone bench in the garden. The silence of the evening felt peaceful, but beneath it, my mind was anything but calm. The weight of everything I had fought for pressed down on me, heavier than ever before. I had won the throne, defeated the king, and begun the difficult task of rebuilding the kingdom. But as I sat there, my thoughts drifted far beyond the walls of this castle, to the world beyond—farther still, to my mother.
  • Princess Anita. My mother. The woman whose legacy I had inherited and whose blood flowed through my veins. She was a woman of vision, a woman who had dreamed of a future where Lycans and humans could live side by side in peace. A future where the lines between us, the barriers that divided our worlds, were erased. And here I was, in this very garden where she once stood, trying to bring that vision to life.
  • I closed my eyes, letting the breeze brush across my face, trying to clear the noise in my mind. For a moment, it was as if she was here with me, her presence lingering like a whisper on the wind.
