Chapter 45 Ghazi Was Conflicted

• "That's ridiculous. Why would you do that? Wait, he had a man in his penthouse?"
• Zal had just reported that he visited Oscar a couple of days ago, telling me that he was worried that my uncles wanted to get back to me through Oscar. The idea was ridiculous, I told Zal exactly that. But then my mind went blank the moment he said that Oscar had a man in his place. I mean, it's not like I don't have a man. I have a boyfriend now, I have Remy. Though thinking about Oscar with another man... there was a selfish side of me that hated the fact.
• "Yes, a man. Why, cousin? I thought you were letting him go, letting him move on to be safe." Zal looked at me, there was a little snark in his tone. He knew that I was getting serious with Remy and he had told me that he can actually protect Oscar if I wanted things to move forward with the guy. But then I remembered why. His family. Oscar was deep in the closet, actually just like I am. Having to spend time with Remy, it was liberating to be with a man who was out. The thought of one day I can be out with Remy was more visible than with Oscar.
