Chapter 15 Remy Was Failing

• It was three days after my trip with Nash that Lance came to visit. He looked exhausted and we cuddled while watching his favorite football team and having dinner on the sofa.
• We were back to talking about Jed since I was still curious about how he had taken care of the issue. But the man did not relent when I asked what he'd done with my boss, I pouted but it only made him laugh at me.
• "That's our business with Jed. I don't want you to worry." He kissed my temple and pulled me to sit on his lap when we were done with dinner.
