• Amanda had taken her deceased husband's funeral money to elope South with Kevin. She thought she was doing it for love, but it turned out that he was just using her. He also mentioned that he would post those pictures online if she laid a finger on his children. This caused her to submit as he spent years helping him raise his sons, and even had to endure his abuse. She was truly traumatized by his abuse as something snapped within her as she decided to inflict her own pain on others especially her daughter. When Kevin and her grew older, he fell for someone else and felt that she was nothing more than a burden to him. Kevin was diagnosed with a condition and since he needed to spend money to get it treated, he decided to kick Amanda out. Besides, his children have all grown up since, and they did not require Amanda to take care of them. So, when she saw Kevin again, she staggered backward and nearly fell as her brothers caught her. The media was drawn by that scene as they realized something was wrong with her, so they began taking her pictures. She was so terrified that she was shaking as if she was staring at the devil.
