Chapter 552 Aftermath

Freya was so shocked by this, that she was wide-eyed as she tried to push Nathaniel away. However, her tiny stature was unable to push him away. Nathaniel's warm breath was assaulting her relentlessly. So, after what felt like an endless struggle, she was finally able to push Nathaniel away. She picked up a table lamp and was tempted to smash his head in. However, she paused mid–air and could not bring herself to hit him. Nathaniel's hoarse voice was the only thing she could hear while his eyes stayed shut. "Don't go. Don't leave me alone, please don't let me alone!"
This immediately stunned Freya.
All Nathaniel could do was lay in bed as he suffered. His eyes were shut while his face was flustered. All he could do was groan in silence. He sounded desperate and hopeless. It almost seemed like he was about to be abandoned. It was as if he was an abandoned puppy that was filled with terror and hopelessness. He was strong and the kiss from earlier felt as if he was trying to suck out all the air from Freya's breath. Even her lips were bit and were slightly swollen at the moment.
