Freya still had zero votes then, but Jack already had more than sixty. So, Jack gave Freya a cocky look, but realized that she seemed uninterested. It almost seemed like the entire voting process had nothing to do with her as she continued to be occupied with her phone. It was unsure what she was doing with her phone or if she was contacting someone then. Jack could not help but scoff as he had already made it clear in the board members meeting. So, even if Nathaniel was to appear then, things were already set in stone, and they could not possibly go back on their words. The consequences would be dire if they were to offend the major shareholders. As the numbers ticked up, it did not take long for Jack's votes to reach a hundred and twenty-five total votes. Some of the shareholders that were personally close to Jack had already come forward to cheer for him. However, Jack told them to sit down, while having a huge smile on his face. This was an extremely rare opportunity for him since Nathaniel had left Saeville to seek treatment and they could not possibly run a company without a leader. If they could crush Freya, then, she would never be able to lead the company or the shareholders. By the time Nathaniel returned, he would be powerful enough to challenge Nathaniel then. He could barely contain his smile when he thought about being in charge of the whole company soon.
