• Nathaniel kissed her head through the covers before leaving with a smile. Frey only got out from her covers as soon as she heard the door shut. Apparently, her forehead was completely covered with sweat. She stared at the ceiling lamps and felt conflicted. So, she decided to lay in bed for a brief moment before reaching for her purse and taking out a single pill from her folder and dropping it into her mouth. As the pill dissolved in her mouth, a strong bitter taste rushed through her as she immediately grabbed a bottle of water from the minibar and chugged it down.

• Meanwhile, Nathaniel had left the country with his private jet. Apparently, Frey was able to get updates on Nathaniel’s schedule by telling the receptionist that she was his assistant.
