• Freya found herself unable to return to Newport Villa. The last time Nathaniel had taken her there, she had been on the brink of fainting. She was resolute in her decision to never return. If it hadn't been for Peyton's help, Freya might have been killed in prison years ago. Peyton had often visited her, providing her with money and necessary items, which allowed her to bribe the other women in prison. Peyton had also arranged hospital care for Freya's mother and even searched for her brother. After Freya was released from prison, Peyton helped her find a job and start a business. Freya had only given Peyton a little help in return, but Peyton had given so much that she had nearly died because of Freya.
• At Red Shift, Peyton was well-liked. She was attractive, with a charming appearance. If she hadn't met Freya, she could have made a lot of money, left her job at Red Shift, and opened her own flower shop. She might have even met a man she liked, or who liked her, and lived a peaceful life. "I have to leave Saeville... I can't stay here any longer," Freya murmured. "Ms. Gomez? Are you feeling any discomfort or pain?" Ozzy asked. "No, thank you, I'm fine," Freya replied. A tube was removed from her body. The oxygen tube remained, as her lungs had not fully recovered. If not properly cared for, it could lead to lung cancer.
