• She saw Nathaniel’s room and realized that it was not a European style pub. Instead, it had pictures that showed more South-east Asian cultures. So, she realized that Nathaniel had gone to South-east Asia. His step-father was a huge business tycoon there and since he had no heir, he decided to adopt Nathaniel and gave him everything. However, after going through the USB stick Sawyer gave her, she knew that his step-father’s business was not legitimate at all. So, this meant that Nathaniel earned his first fortune from some underhanded means.
• So, she recalled how loving Nathaniel looked earlier. It almost seemed like he was a parent who had just gone for a business trip abroad and had promised his child that he would bring home snacks and tots. Freya was overwhelmed with complex emotions as she switched off the lights, rubbed her face and exited the study.
