• I go up the stairs with my protector at my heels. The white wolf is with me, protecting baby Belle and me. At least there is someone who is concerned with my well-being. Erick and his pack are only concerned for themselves. I, on the other hand, and the white wolf want to secure baby Belle. Belle is the future. Baby Belle is the one that has to be protected at all costs, even the Alpha's life.
• The white wolf whispers to me as we go into the bedroom for baby Belle and me. The room that was once for Erick and me. Now, it will be for Belle and me. I will be a prisoner here for now, but they cannot watch me forever. At some point, they will take their eyes off of me, and then I will run with her. My wolf and I will keep her safe. We will secure her future.
