• The darkness stares at me through Alpha Sebastian’s eyes. Is he still in there? I try to reach Alpha Sebastian through our mate bond, but there is nothing. I cannot feel him at all. I am afraid for him. I will cooperate with the darkness. “Send them away now, or I will kill your precious love,” the darkness says; he hisses at me. I am petrified.
• “Send them in to see me, and I will send them away,” I say to him. He smiles at me. For a moment, his eyes shift to solid black, and it sends a shiver down my spine looking at him. I do not think Alpha Sebastian is still in there.
