• The vampire moves closer. I step toward him. I want to know why Kate sprung him from the pack jail and what his part is in all of this. I know she wanted to help and was concerned about him. I also know she needed him to get Liam out of the realm, but she did not really explain why. She only said he had powers. I wonder if his powers are like Kate's and Belle's. If he is family to them, it is possible that he is powerful.
• "What do you want, vampire?" I growl at him. I want answers, but for now, I only want to know why he is here; the rest can wait until Kate and Belle are safely away from Raven.
