- Kate POV
- I am sitting in Erick’s lap, trying to eat my breakfast, when Cassie comes in with Macon. I look up at Macon and Cassie, but I continue to eat. I am starving and not awake enough to deal with all of this yet.
- “Kate, I only wish to talk to you, please,” Macon says. Macon sits down at the table with us. Angie gets up from the table. “Would you like something to eat?” she asks Macon.
