• Kevin stared at me silently. "Believe me or not—that man, Gabriel Stewart, is hiding something. He is not what you or others think of." I could see the intensity in Kevin's eyes as he spoke, his voice filled with conviction. "There's more to him than meets the eye," he added cryptically.
• "Kevin, please. He is my father. There must be some misunderstanding ." Kevin's expression softened slightly, but his eyes remained wary. "I hope you're right, but just be careful," he warned, savoring the food on his plate.
