Chapter 36
- I don’t know when or how I fell asleep in such terrible circumstances but I did. I guess the rain stopped long before. I can no longer feel the droplet fall on my body or my face, but my head is hurting so bad that I can’t even make myself open my eyes. And wait, when the ground beneath my body becomes so soft and smooth it feels like bed. I opened my eyes on the sudden realization, finding myself in someplace I have never been before. I moved my eyes scanning the surroundings of the place I’m in: a room, white walls, a twin bed, lots of books, a desk and a cupboard, nothing much interesting but who brought me here. In the first place, and wait a minute, I scanned my clothes, checking anything usually. These are not my clothes then whose clothes are these, but other than nothing is unusual about me, I don’t feel as if someone touched me or did anything bad. But who brought me here?
- And as the question popped in my head. The door of the bedroom opened and a male, with a tray in his hand. He didn’t talk but just placed the tray on the table and turned to leave. “Wait,” I said before he could leave.
- He turned his face looking at me but said nothing, “It's you who brought me,” I questioned.
