Chapter 411 Book 4 Scarlett's Situation
- The first stop at the dungeons was Scarlett’s cell. There was no way I would have known it was Scarlett’s cell if Killian didn’t say so with a chilling grin on his face. She was in wolf form and her wolf looked nothing like an Alpha wolf. Scars and fleas covered the wolf's body. Thin and emaciated, she looked more like a starved Omega wolf than a proud Alpha.
- The wolf raised her head and I flinched when I met the soulless black eyes. In them laid deep-seated hatred, not much unlike the look Scarlett used to give me. The wolf growled, yanking at the chains holding it as it tried to charge. She struggled against the chains holding her legs but the more she struggled, the more the silver chains cut into her skin, making her bleed and poisoning her system.
- “Are you sure she has gone completely rogue?” I asked Killian who laughed, the sound small and – happy.
