• CHAPTER 43- BETHANY
• I woke up before the break of dawn, feeling the warmth of Ryder's body next to mine. Although I longed to stay in bed with him, I quietly slipped out of his embrace, not wanting to wake him. He looked so peaceful while sleeping, and I couldn't resist but steal one last glance at him before leaving.
• As I made my way towards the bathroom, my thoughts were consumed with what Ryder had asked me last night. He wanted me to move into his room, but I couldn't determine what that would make us - friends or lovers? I needed to have that conversation with him, but I didn't want to risk losing him in case he didn't feel the same way.
