• I stepped out of the cabin with a stern look on my face and asked, "What are you doing here?" I made sure to keep my voice hard enough to convey my annoyance. This was my hideout, a place where I could be alone with my thoughts. And Chester's, of course.
• Earlier, I had gone into her room to set up her phone, but I left feeling frustrated and angry with myself.
