• A wolf had come to inform us of the ambush. I was scared, what if he was hurt in the fight? Celeste walked up to me. We were both standing on the front porch, awaiting their arrival.
• “Child, he will be fine. He alone can take them all down and they know it,” she said, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. I nodded. To be honest, I didn't know why I felt this way over Ryder, it wasn't like we were in a relationship or anything, I just needed to know he was alright.
