Chapter 9
- It was like her nightmares, those that were projected every night and that tormented her and for which she had to take medication to sleep and get some rest. She ran wildly without looking back because, although what she had found in the clinic was a man, in her head the image of a golden-eyed wolf looking to tear her neck was what was going through her mind. The only positive thing was that no matter how much she dreamed the same thing she was never reached, so she felt some confidence, but this time it felt so real that she didn't know if she was dreaming or it was the harsh reality. The rain hit every part of her body and the coldness seeped through every pore of her skin that only made her pray for her own life, because this seemed real, not just a nightmare.
- She could not hear anything. She could only be grateful to see in front of her due to the light projected by the lightning that appeared constantly, however, the same noise caused by them made it useless to know where you were aggressor and that terrified her even more.
- Selena ran until her legs ached in no fixed direction. Her mind told her that she was getting lost, she didn't know those places and even less where the town was. Her fear was the one that moved her, until something hit her back roughly and made her fall to the ground. So hard was the impact on her chest when she hit the ground that she gasped. She felt crushed as a weight projected over her almost crushing her shoulders as it held her down. Selena flinched and wanted to scream, but she froze feeling what sounded to her like a grunt near the back of her neck.
