Chapter 18
- Selena was cutting and placing on a plate the pieces of meat that she would feed to the wolf that night. She was nervous. Her eyes couldn't take her eyes off the knob in front of her, and at the same time she could hear the animal's footsteps running through the house. It had refused to stay inside the room and would roam every corner of the small apartment, sniffing and rubbing against everything. She had even seen it climb onto the sofa.
- She didn't know whether to say anything to him. This animal was so complicated to understand that she was breaking her head. However, she would take action. She had to know what it was.
- So he grabbed the knob and carefully poured three drops of its contents onto the food. It wouldn't put him to sleep for long, but long enough to tie him up in case he had other intentions. Although by this time she didn't know. The wolf had not attacked her at any time, rather, he was too mellow.
