Chapter 82

• "Nic!" Gabrielle throws herself up from lying on the bed.
• Adjusting her vision to what little light there is in the room that is coming from outside. The curtain is closed and she had to reach for the side lamp to have lights inside the dark room where she is.
• "Nic..." her heart begins pounding harshly against her chest realizing she is alone in the room! Veronica is nowhere to be found and for that she immediately rises and stands up to look for her.
