Chapter 69

• Vincent wakes up to the sound of a woman's desperate cries inside the room. He squints trying to adjust his eyesight as he opens his eyes looking for where the sound is coming from. He groans loudly feeling the stinging sensations all over his naked skin like he'd been peeled off of his skin. He had a lot of scratches, but what made him grit his teeth and clench his jaws was the banging pain inside his head as if he'd been hammered last night. He reaches both of his hands to pull on his hair while groaning.
• He had been so drunk... So angry and betrayed that he remembers now drowning himself in alcohol last night before heading home and...
• What happened after that? He flinches trying to remember what he did after. He was sure he went home... to his cheater of a wife.
