Chapter 17

• She didn't know where they were going. All she knew is that Vincent is dragging her out of the ballroom now. He is holding her wrist tightly as he pulls her to run as if it'll be the end of them if she wasn't quick.
• Gabrielle remained blank and unable to talk even when Vincent pushes her into his car and drives his way down to the city until they reach The Atelier. He stops at the parking lot and stare at the wheels of his car before turning toblook at her still stunned face.
• He cannot read what is on her mind. There is no emotion written on her face as she stares blankly at an empty space.
