• The room doesn't match his frightening exterior, one would think that his sanctuary would look more like a library but it is far from it. The room where he is holding the man's daughter right now is a room of a man who is so much in love with his family.
• From the day Gabrielle was born up to the day when she graduated and passed the licensure exam for Doctors... even her wedding photo as he walks her down the aisle... her life, in pictures are all lined up on a long desk facing his study. Vincent could almost imagine the old man smiling dryly at himself as he looks up at his daughter's photos from time to time while doing his paperwork on the small desk inside his room.
• He feels bad now for judging him on what they all though he did to his daughter's life. Like Gabrielle, her father has also been just a victim of the wicked twist of fate that hit their family.
