Chapter 53 Mariana

• It was another day to be overworked in this depressing club. I stifled a yawn as I mopped the floor. I hadn't been able to sleep because of what I saw in Margot's office. I had nightmares, the bad ones that I thought had been over years ago but seeing that picture revived them again. My thoughts were scrambled with so many questions that I didn't have answers to and I didn't know how I could get them. I couldn't ask Lorenzo, I don't know how he would react if he found out that I knew about him keeping tabs on me. There was no one else I could talk to about it, not Samantha or Janet.
• "Damn,you look like shit." Janet said. She was on cleaning duty with me today which was kind of rare because we were hardly paired up together. I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable by her presence. Was this some kind of coincidence? or was she purposely placed here because Margot had suspected that I had seen something?
• "Yeah,I couldn't really get much sleep." I said, stifling a yawn again.
