• A week went by and Asher still hadn’t returned. Elizabeth didn’t want to be worried based on what Alex had said but at times, that worry seemed to creep out without her even thinking about him. She couldn’t deny the fact that she had a special connection with him. It had been there all along even though she had been too stubborn to acknowledge it.
• Elizabeth liked him and now, it was leaning dangerously towards love but she still didn’t know how to bridge the feeling that had suddenly come upon her. She missed his presence here. Not a day passes without her thinking about him.
