• Alex's eyes moved from her face and down to the bag clutched between her hand and immediately, he understood what Elizabeth was trying to do. He wasn’t surprised by this because of what she had gone through in the hands of Asher. This was her chance to escape and he knew he couldn’t blame her one bit if she tried.
