Chapter 57 Underneath Her Feet

• Beth POV.
• It was already dark into the night and Asher was still yet to return to the room. Beth sat by the sofa wondering if the Alpha was going to avoid her forever or return eventually. Even though she wanted him gone, she still couldn’t help but crave his presence in the room. She glance at the clock and sighed before getting up on her feet before making her way over to the bed.
• She crawled into bed and lay under the sheet, his scent immediately hitting her nose hard. She took a deep breath of it before exhaling slowly. She doesn’t know why but his aroma tend to calm the child within her whenever it was feeling restless.
