Chapter 63

• The drive back home was the usual drive the three would have. They found ways to talk, but no conversation lasted long. Cassie couldn’t seem to take her mind off what had happened the day before, it was another piece to a puzzle she didn't think she could fix.
• She had decided to talk to the boys when they got home, but it didn’t keep her mind from spiraling. She had to talk to Lorenzo, but she didn’t know if she wanted to do that before or after her talk with Alex and Aaron. She was afraid if she told them first, they’d tell her to leave it to them and Lorenzo to figure out which didn’t seem like an option to her.
• But if someone was following her, then she needed to be open with them, it wasn’t about keeping the boys from trying to kill Lorenzo anymore, it was about her safety and she didn’t feel safe anymore.
