Chapter 21

• It had been a few days since Cassie and the boys got back to Mr. Adam’s residence from the club house; they had gone deep into work, it was almost impossible to see them for more than a few minutes, mostly when they were on their way out again. Cassie had tried starting a new book, but for some reason, the only thing she found herself thinking about was what Aaron had spoken to her about, moving in with them.
• “Daddy” Cassie calls out as she shuts her room door
• “Down here!” he responds, trying his best to keep his voice down as he hated anyone shouting on top of their voice
