• It was hard to believe that it had been a week since she started working with the boys. Every day was perfect, how they would be so deep into the works but still enjoyed each other’s company. Cassie had been excited when she found out Kathie would be working with her, but now they hardly saw each other. She was always so busy, making schedules and answering calls.
• Cassie had gotten a call from Mr. Parks letting her know that the book would soon be out, but he had decided to keep the date to himself, to be a lover of the dramatics. So every day Cassie woke up, it was a new day of anxiety-filled moments.
• Cassie had finally found a way to get Lorenzo’s number from Kathie’s phone, but now she was wondering what she would even say to him. It had been two days now and she could only stare at his number. Regardless of how her subconscious warned her against it, Cassie had made up her mind to see him and try to get some information out of him
