• The dining table had been silent for a while now, Cassie had her eyes wide open, staring at both her dad and Alexander, while Alex and Aaron ate their dinner, their expressions indifferent about what their dad and Cassie’s dad had just told them
• Cassie finally blinks and takes in a deep breath, she had not seen this coming, and she didn’t even know what to say. She had not spent any holiday away from her dad and even though that was the least of her worries, she decided to think about just that
